Felukah
Felukah is an Egyptian rapper, singer, poet and activist. Seamlessly blending her Arabic culture into Western sounds, Felukah is dubbed the ‘Arab futurist songstress,’ or the artist paving the way for a ‘new wave of Arab women.’
Felukah’s music and revolutionary character have garnered the attention of thousands in the Middle East as well as the Western world, landing her opportunities with the FIFA World Cup, Harvard University, the Brooklyn Museum, Boiler Room TV, and more.
HIBISKISS, Felukah’s latest record, marks a new era for her, one rooted in self-discovery and a return to source. Four years in the making, the album explores identity, womanhood, love, loss, and the realities of the music industry, drawing from hip-hop, rap, and her Egyptian and Arab heritage. She calls it "an actual 'kiss' for my inner child and for anyone else who can relate to my message."
